Presentation

The municipality of El Ain is located in the northwest of the city of Sfax and administratively falls under the delegation of Sfax South. It covers an area of 1,480 hectares and has nearly 50,000 inhabitants. It is bordered to the south by Avenue des Martyrs with the municipality of Sfax, to the east by Avenue Habib Thameur and then the municipality of Gremda, to the north by the Ain Cherfi wadi and the municipalities of El Aouabed and El Khaznate, and to the west by the Chaâbouni wadi and the El Maou wadi, then the municipality of El Hajeb.
